Chateau LanSai, located in Haoyuan Village, Zhenbeipu Town, Xixia District, Yinchuan City, Ningxia, is currently a third-level classified winery in the Helan Mountain East Foothill wine region of Ningxia and has been awarded the geographical indication certification of the region.
The winery features blue bricks and gray tiles, pavilions, and towers, perfectly blending the stone materials of the Helan Mountains with traditional Chinese architectural aesthetics. Incorporating brick carvings and porcelain carvings, its arched eaves and delicate structures present a uniquely Jin-style Chinese winery.
“A single encounter with Helan, a lifelong promise in the heart.” The journey began in 2005 with the search for land, followed by vine planting in 2009, winery construction in 2013, and experimental winemaking notes in 2015. The winery owns 206 acres of vineyards, adhering to strict field controls—limiting yields to 450 kilograms per mu, with no more than 7 clusters of grapes per vine. In 2021, a 25-acre Pinot Noir vineyard with 17-year-old vines was refined into an exclusive single-vineyard management system.
A decade of dedication, a decade of creation—nourished by the Yellow River, accompanied by Helan Mountain. The abundant fruits grown on the golden sands, born of fate and devotion, naturally transform into fine wines.
Since 2016, Lan Sai Winery's flagship brand, the “Mo” series, has been launched, followed by the “Jasmine” series in 2017. Both have consistently won grand gold medals, double gold medals, and gold medals at prestigious domestic and international competitions.
Zhongxiang Deng graduated from the Burgundy University Institute of Viticulture and Enology in France, earning the French National Diploma in Oenology (Diplôme National d'Œnologue) and becoming a member of the French Union of Oenologists.
